This is a multi-level residence with spatial rhythms composed with restraint and lightness.Soft, luminous wood forms the foundation of the space, allowing daylight to sweep gently across floors, stairs, and shelves, filtering out city’s noise and leaving behind only warmth and life. By reducing visual weight, both body and mind to land lightly, at ease.
入門後，玄關的地磚以灰藍為基底，幾何塊面錯落交疊，霧面質地讓線條柔化，不過度張揚，如同城市中被拉長的建築身影，倒映在地面。半圓、直條與方形彼此交會，將都市的輪廓輕輕收進家門口——這是空間與外界第一次溫柔的對話。
Upon entry, the foyer floor is paved in muted blue-grey tiles. Overlapping geometric planes in a matte finish soften edges without demanding attention, its semi-circle, linear, and rectangular shapes resembling and reflecting elongated urban silhouettes subtly on the floor, easing them into the threshold—and this becomes the home’s first gentle dialogue with the outside world.

area. The home’s narrative quietly expands laterally, shelves of varying proportions
arranged freely, creating openness rather than pressure, allowing the eye to breathe
as it moves between moments of enclosure and release.
A white stair structure links the TV wall and bookshelf, giving way to higher
collections. No longer is this wall merely for display, but a place of interaction
between the homeowner and the space. The steps turn everyday actions into small
rituals—reaching for a book, rearranging objects, readjusting one’s mood—allowing
the space, despite its compact scale, to unfold into infinite possibilities.

透明立面與結構細節讓階梯的存在介於「可見」與「輕忽其存在」的界線之間，在光線滑過時，踏階內縮的倒角邊緣悄悄泛起亮度，使整段樓梯帶著一種近乎懸浮的視覺感，最大限度地將光線引入複層中央，解決宅邸採光問題的同時，也營造出優雅的漂浮感。
The transparent façade and refined structural details place the staircase on the delicate threshold between presence and near invisibility. As light glides across its surface, recessed chamfered edges quietly catch a soft glow, lending the stairway an almost floating visual. This design draws daylight deep into the heart of the multi-level home, resolving interior lighting limits while simultaneously reinforcing a sense of lightness.

Through the transparent glass balustrade, the bedroom maintains a delicate, measured connection with the double-height living area below. Dark-toned bedding introduces visual gravity against the soft white and warm wood palette, grounding the atmosphere. With minimal cabinetry, light and air continue to move freely, preserving the defining quality of the multi-level home—its sense of openness and transparency.

The bathroom extends the home’s warm, tactile language. Wood-grain tiles are applied underfoot, ensuring a warm sensation even when transitioning barefoot from one area to another. Our gaze is naturally drawn to the shower wall, where a bold retro-organic tile composition contrasts with the blankness elsewhere. Amber, brick red, and blue-grey circular motifs intertwine across the wall, resembling an out-of-focus night cityscape, or abstract autumn foliage. As steam rises, the wall introduces an artistic rhythm to the otherwise simple ritual of bathing. Slender metal elements define wet and dry zone functions with precision.
當身心在私密的場域裡獲得完整的梳理，生活的鏡頭，便能從容地切換回迎向城市的視角。經過一夜沈澱，故事再次回到了起點。
Once body and mind are fully restored within these private spaces, the lens of daily life gently shifts back toward the city. After a night of quiet reflection, the narrative returns to its beginning.

warmly in the palm. Sitting on a small stool, he changes into shoes fit for the
city’s pace. Overhead, a pendant light casts a calm illumination, bathing this brief
moment in gentleness and composure.

Then he rises, closes the door, and leaves the home’s lightness behind—carrying with him a settled sense of living as he steps back into the city.
